He then proceeds to make it so that they have no choice, but to team up. Hal Jordan sent out the message and ends up telling the two that they will have to partner up because they are both so new to the game. This book shows both Baz and Cruz dealing with their civilian lives when they each receive a call on their Lantern ring to report to the moon. I've yet to see enough of her to form an opinion of her as a character. I know the female GL, Jessica Cruz, comes in sometime towards the end of New 52, but this book is my introduction to the character. I'm not in love with that character, but I already like him better that Kyle Raynor and John Stewart.

I've only made it into the New 52 Green Lantern series far enough to read the first volume that contains Simon Baz. I've yet to see enough of he I'm a lover of all things dealing with Hal Jordan, but I've never been too fond of the other human Lantern Corps members.
